The outfit
A 1930s crew that runs streets, capos and districts under one name. This page is what the record says about us.
The Don, at his desk.
In the Don's own words
We did not start as a name anybody knew. We started as a crew that showed up on time and read the terms before every handshake. When we took the streets as Mira Angelo, free-to-play and light on standing, our first order was Foundry Row, and Foundry Row taught us the difference between muscle and reputation in one night. We kept the lesson and we kept the crew.
What stands now is built to outlast any one of us. Headquarters runs a vault for the take, a laundry for the numbers, a pawn shop for the front, and a furnace that has not stopped eating since the day it was lit. If you are reading this journal, you are reading pages from the working ledger of that operation.
Our business is districts, the corners they contain, and the $R that moves between them. We are writing it all down because a syndicate that forgets its losses repeats them, and a syndicate that repeats its losses ends up a story somebody else tells.
How the crew runs
Streets
Crews hold corners and take orders from the capos. Every street operation starts as a reading of the terms.
Districts
Foundry Row taught us that each district has a spec of its own. No two negotiations resolve the same way.
The vault
Take comes in, figures sit counted, and the numbers move on only when the ledger says so.
The furnace
HQ2 keeps it running day and night. What it eats is our business. That it never stops is the point.
